The NAHB’s annual National Green Building Conference will be held May 1-3 in Salt Lake City. As in year’s past, the conference and trade show will offer green builders—rookies and veterans alike—a host of educational opportunities, products, and special events. Here are some of the highlights from this year’s event:

Keynote, May 2
Mike Holmes, host of HGTV’s Holmes on Homes and Holmes Inspection, will kick off a full schedule of workshops.

Educational Sessions, May 2-3
More then 25 workshops May 2 and 3 will cover every area of residential green building, including Energy Star Version 3, water efficiency, construction waste, legal compliance, multifamily, indoor air quality, affordable housing, and much more.

Exhibit Floor, May 2-3
More than 40 green-minded manufacturers will showcase the latest in eco-minded products and technologies.

Pre-Conference Sessions, April 27-30
Several full-day workshops are scheduled April 27-30. Full-day sessions offer intensive coverage of green building science and project management.

Home Tour, May 1
A conference mainstay, this bus tour on May 1 will showcase the best that Salt Lake City green builders have to offer.

National Green Building Awards Dinner, May 2
Cheer on your peers as the NAHB recognizes individuals and companies that contributed to and helped advanced green building over the past year.
