The halls of the annual Kitchen & Bath Industry Show are always lined with one eye-catching product after another. But these days, many homeowners are just as enamored by energy savings, water conservation, and resource efficiency as they are by the latest styles and finishes; the words “WaterSense,” “Energy Star,” and “recycled” are spoken almost as often as “chrome” and “contemporary.” Manufacturers continue to respond to the growing green movement with new products for the kitchen and the bath that meet the needs of eco-savvy consumers—without skimping on looks or functionality.
