Residents of the two-year-old Voyager at Space Center have a choice of 29 floor plans in one-, two-, and three-bedroom configurations, many with 10-foot ceilings, oversized patios or balconies, custom trim and crown molding, granite countertops, 42-inch cabinets, and walk-in closets.

Tenants can unwind in the resort-style pool with a sundeck, cabanas, and a heated spa, relax by the fire pit, or grill dinner in the outdoor barbecue kitchen.

But beyond the swanky amenities, the four-level building boasts a hard-working infrastructure. Built by Houston-based developer Martin Fein Interests, the project meets National Green Building Standard benchmarks in energy, water, and resource efficiency; indoor air quality; and lot and site development, making it the largest multifamily community certified to the ANSI-based standard. The project earned extra certification points for reusing portions of an existing former government office building on-site, and for its density and proximity to employment and retail centers, including a short walk to the Johnson Space Center.

Other sustainable features include:
--Dual-pane low-E windows
--Energy Star appliances
--Drought-tolerant landscaping
--Low-VOC finishes
--Walk Score of 72
