The body of architect Greg Franta was found in the wreckage of a car in a Colorado ravine March 10, according to a report by the Denver Post. Franta, 58, senior vice president of the Rocky Mountain Institute (RMI), had been reported missing a month earlier.

Well known in the field of sustainable architecture, Franta was one of the creators of the original LEED certification program.

The Rocky Mountain Institute has established the Greg Franta Leadership Fund to “honor and continue Greg’s work and legacy.”
