Home for Hope

Students from Lorain County Joint Vocational School finish the straw-bale wall in the home’s breakfast room.

The Home for Hope project is R.J. Perritt’s Bradley II 2,197-square-foot floor plan, featuring a first-floor master bedroom, two additional bedrooms, loft, breakfast nook, and two-car garage. A finished basement is optional.

The home features low-E windows from Jeld-Wen and zero-VOC paint from ICI.

The bathrooms feature WaterSense-certified faucets and showerheads from Moen and concrete countertops. A clerestory window in the master bath provides daylighting while maintaining privacy.

A loft area overlooks the great room below.

A rainwater garden in the Copper Creek development will slow and filter stormwater runoff before it heads to neighborhoods downstream.
