The home for a single mother and her sons rises 3 feet above ground supported by a structure of re-purposed telephone poles to allow cooling air to ventilate from underneath.

The exterior of the home includes re-purposed wood pallets, aluminum panels, and recycled steel.

The interior is finished with hand-made earth plaster and wood.

The rocket stove generates heat from small kindling and draws exhaust through piping in a cob bench that acts as a thermal mass, absorbing the heat and letting it into the space for many hours after the stove has stopped burning.
