The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) is seeking input on sustainable building technologies and practices that may improve the economic and environmental performance of federal buildings. Under its Green Proving Ground (GPG) program, the GSA uses the government’s real estate portfolio, which includes 9,600 buildings across the country, to test emerging building technologies and practices to save energy and water and reduce operational costs.

The request for information (RFI) invites industry stakeholders to submit information to the program, which will then be used in the selection process for technologies to be tested in the GPG 3012 program. Information submitted should be related to building technologies and practices that can be donated to the GSA or provided via testing agreements at no cost.

The RFI will remain open until Nov. 23, and is online at More information about the GPG program is online a
