Philips won the $10 million Bright Tomorrow Lighting Prize for this lamp. The LED L Prize lamp replaces a 60W lamp with a 10W lamp that has a rated average life of 25,000 hours and an output of 900 lumens. It's intended for interior use only. The instant-on lamp is Energy Star qualified and offers omni-directional light with a CRI of 92. It contains no mercury and, according to the manufacturer, emits virtually no UV or IR light in the beam. The lamp comes with a three-year limited warranty.
