Sherwin-Williams recently introduced six innovative products:
Harmony Zero VOC Paint
Sherwin-Williams enhanced Harmony Paint helps promote better indoor air quality with Formaldehyde Reducing Technology, reducing airborne concentrations of formaldehyde and other aldehydes. This enhanced formula is available in flat and eg-shel sheens and helps reduce the levels of VOCs from potential sources like insulation, carpet, cabinets, fabrics and other building materials. Harmony also contains Odor Eliminating Technology, which helps minimize common indoor odors.
Harmony Paint delivers great hide and a durable finish that can withstand frequent washings and its anti-microbial agents inhibit the growth of mildew on the paint surface.
Designed to meet the high standards for beauty and revolutionary technology, Emerald Paints provide best-in-class overall performance on some of the most ambitious projects where durability is critical. Emerald Paints are suitable for a wide range of residential and commercial applications, from hotels, to offices, to home interiors. Emerald Exterior Paint was even used to refurbish the 90-year-old Hollywood Sign, enabling it to withstand the elements for years to come.
- Emerald Interior Acrylic Latex Paint provides exceptional washability and hide. It has anti-microbial agents that inhibit the growth of mold and mildew on the paint surface
- Emerald Exterior Acrylic Latex Paint provides extreme resistance to blistering, peeling, chalking, fading, and dirt pick-up. It also provides a mildew-resistant coating.
- Emerald Paints, along with all Sherwin-Williams waterbased and latex coatings, are tinted with ColorCast EcoToner® colorants, which do not add to the VOC content of any coating when tinted
Dry Erase Coating
Easily applied to virtually any interior substrate and over any color, professionals can create versatile dry erase boards with a durable, clear gloss that wipes clean, without ghosting. Formulated exclusively for professional paint contractors, Dry Erase Coating, is ideal for use in nurse stations, operating rooms, patients’ rooms, kids’ play areas, along with meeting rooms and lecture halls.
A quick-to-apply, stays-where-sprayed, 100 percent acrylic interior coating, TuffWall Finish clings to walls until it is knocked down to the desired texture. Meeting the most stringent VOC regulations, TuffWall stands out from the competition as it can be applied by airless spray to provide a smooth base coat, taking a level four drywall finish to a level five base coat. It can be tinted to hundreds of custom colors. It is also 100 percent acrylic and has anti-microbial agents that inhibit the growth of mold and mildew on the paint surface.
PrimeRx Peel Bonding Primer
Sherwin-Williams PrimeRx Peel Bonding Primer is for professionals who deal with alligatored or peeling exterior coatings. Whether it’s wood, masonry, stucco, hardboards or chalky surfaces, PrimeRx Peel Bonding Primer:
- Helps complete a job faster with less sanding and scraping
- Goes on milky-white for ease of application and dries clear
